The Letterenhuis Antwerpen asked Regula to write a booklet about famous Belgian author Stijn Streuvel’s second life as a baker and the history of the Avelgemse Perentaart (pear tart). Regula conducted research into the extinct pear variety and read Streuvels books to uncover the stories of his life as a baker.
