Regula Ysewijn is a photographer with a focus on but not exclusively food.

While she has published, styled and photographed 3 of her own award-winning cookbooks, she also has an award-winning photo book called ‘Belgian café culture,  portrait of the iconic Belgian Café‘ (Authentieke Belgische Cafés). It is a book full of photos of valuable café interiors and portraits of landlords and ladies.  

Other than her own books she has photographed other author’s cookbooks and has also worked for magazines such as The simple things, British Food Magazine and Borough Market’s Market Life Magazine. 

As a photographer Regula has been shortlisted for the World Photography Awards (Formerly Pink Lady Food Photograher of the Year Awards) on 4 occasions.

Borough Market’s Market Life Magazine also won the award for best Food Magazine when she was in charge with the cover images and creative interior shots with fruit and veg
